Once we become self-aware of these things, we are then able to show more compassion and kindness to people who find it difficult to accept their emotions and imperfections. Guilt, shame, and confusion about our roles can make us strive even harder to be what we think we need to be for others, and disregard ourselves.īut I believe the Bible is clear on what life should look like.
